ANZ Cricket Coin Toss Promotion Terms and Conditions

Eligibility
- An entry can be made to the ANZ Coin Toss Promotion by any person residing in New Zealand aged 18 years and over as at 19 October 2020 (“the Entrant”).
- The Entrant may nominate a child aged between 7 and 13 as at 19 October 2020 (the “Nominee”), who is either a relative or close family friend. Entrants may enter as many times as they wish providing that each entry submitted contains a different Nominee. Multiple entries which are duplicates may result in all nominations by that Entrant being disqualified.
Promoter and Organiser
- The promoter and organiser of the Promotion is ANZ Bank New Zealand Limited, whose registered address is ANZ Centre, 23-29 Albert Street, Auckland 1010, (the “Promoter”).
How to enter
- The promotion commences at 12:00am on 19 October 2020 with the last date for entries being 14 March 2021 at 11:59pm.
- To enter, Entrants will be required to fill in an online entry form. Entrants who are not the parent or legal guardian of the Nominee must also confirm that they have the authority of the parent or guardian of the Nominee to nominate the child and act as their chaperone in undertaking the prize experience.
- The following entries shall be deemed invalid:
- incomprehensible or incomplete entries;
- any entries that infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party or that are plagiarised;
- any entries that do not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
- All entries become the property of the Promoter.
- By submitting an entry, Entrants are deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter may amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
The Prize
- There are 10 Coin Toss experiences to win. Each prize winner will receive the following:
- The experience of participating in the coin toss with the team captains at the commencement of a cricket match.
- Four tickets to the allocated cricket match – one for the entrant and nominee and two guests.
The Prize Draw
- The prize draw will take place fourteen days prior to each cricket match in the 2020/21 International Series for both the BLACKCAPS and WHITE FERNS.
- A winner will be drawn for each match from all valid entries with the city the match is being played in selected on the entry form. There is only one winner per match and the first entry drawn that complies with these Terms and Conditions will win the prize experience for that game.
- Entrants and Nominees can only win one prize in this Promotion each, irrespective of the number of nominations they have submitted or received.
- Once eligibility of the Entrant and the Nominee has been confirmed by the Promoter, entrants will be contacted within 72 hours following the prize draw using the contact details provided on the entry form. If an entrant cannot be contacted within this 72 hour period the prize experience will be forfeited and another prize winner will be drawn from all remaining non-prize winning entries received for the relevant city.
- Prize winners are required to confirm their participation in the prize by email within 24 hours of being successfully contacted.
Prize winners’ obligations
- The prize is not transferable, except that if either of the winning Entrant or Nominee, for whatever reason, is unable to personally attend the prize experience, they may notify the Promoter within 24 hours of receipt of their prize winning notification, nominating the names, contact details and relationship to the parties of their replacement(s). The Promoter at its sole discretion may accept any change to the details of the prize winners. In the event the details of replacement(s) are not provided or the Promoter does not accept such a change, that Entrant's and Nominee’s prize will be forfeited and another prize winner will be drawn from all remaining non-prize winning entries received.
- All 2020/21 International Series tickets are issued subject to Ticket Terms and Conditions (“Ticket Conditions”) which apply to the possession and use of tickets. The winners of the prize will be required to comply with the Ticket Conditions.
- The prize winners will receive an itinerary once they have been contacted by the Promoter and have confirmed their participation in the prize, setting out meeting times, venue details and a match day contact person for their allocated match. The prize winners must accept the conditions and commit to comply with the instructions in the itinerary or the prize will be forfeited and another prize winner drawn from all remaining non-prize winning entries received.
- By claiming a prize, the prize winners consent to the Promoter making use of their name(s) and/or photograph(s) for publicity purposes, including advertising, online (including the ANZ Cricket World website) and social media use, as determined by the Promoter.
Promoter Obligations
- The Promoter may substitute an alternative prize of equivalent value without notice in the event any prize or part of a prize becomes unavailable.
- The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry as a direct or indirect result of a technical problem of any kind, internet malfunction or any issues related to the submission of application forms. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promoter’s website database, not at the time of transmission by the Entrant.
- The decisions of the Promoter are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- ANZ may change, extend or amend or cancel the Promotion at any time.
Privacy
- The information provided to enter this Promotion will be held securely by the Promoter and will be used for the purposes of administering the Promotion (which may include disclosure to agents of the Promoter for the purpose of administering the Promotion). Entrants and Nominees have the right to access and request correction of this information by emailing info@anzcricketworld.co.nz
Liability
- The Promoter and its related bodies corporate shall not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or death suffered or sustained (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss or loss), arising out of or in connection with the Promotion, the taking of a prize, or any act or omission (whether negligent or not) of the Promoter or any of its associated agencies, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
- Without limiting the foregoing, the Promoter assumes no responsibility for, and the Entrants or Nominees release the Promoter from, any loss, claim, damage or injury to person or property if, for any reason beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control (e.g. due to computer viruses, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures etc), this Promotion is not able to be conducted as planned and/or the Promotion's administration, security, fairness or integrity are corrupted or affected. Further, in such circumstances, the Promoter may modify or suspend the Promotion and/or invalidate any entries of any individual in any way involved in interfering or tampering with the conduct of the Promotion or abusing the communication system upon which the Promotion is being conducted.
- These Terms and Conditions are to be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand.
